Thor: Ranking Every Hammer Worst To Best

10. Ragnarok's Hammer

Thor Corps
Marvel Comics

In the main continuity of Earth-616, Thor died—as many comic characters do from time-to-time—but he was replaced with the help of Tony Stark, Reed Richards, and Hank Pym. The three scientists/madmen thought it would be a good idea to clone a god, and as one might expect, it didn't work out well for most of the Marvel Universe.

The Thor clone stormed on the scene with a special hammer created by three men since the clone's worthiness was somewhat in question, and nobody had the hammer either. He went to battle and immediately killed Goliath by shooting a blast of lightning through his chest.

The kill stunned everyone present, and the tide of the Civil War shifted from that point. Eventually, the Thor clone, who was also part robot, was killed by Hercules, and his hammer was destroyed, but he managed to come back to join the Thunderbolts with the name Ragnarok.

He found a replacement hammer on Earth-13584, but it was slightly different with a curved head that was slightly longer than the original. Ragnarok could not only wield the hammer, but he was also given the powers of Thor, where his original constructed hammer only enabled the conduction of electricity.
