What Happened To Everyone Who Became Batman?

2. Batman One Million

Batman One Million
DC Comics

Batman One Million is actually the Batman of the 853rd century, an era in which most criminals are incarcerated on Pluto, which was still considered a planet when the story was written. Eventually, a criminal known as Xauron led a revolt and massacred the peaceful peoples who were living there, bar the children, who were forced to watch as it happened.

As you can probably guess, that's a lot of Batmen. Although, only one actually decided to become Batman, and there identity is still unknown.

Batman One Million first appeared in JLA #23 in 1998, where he was sent back in time along with the Justice Legion to witness the reemergence of Superman Prime. It doesn't go according to plan however, and the future Batman is forced to work with his predecessor in order to save the world from a futuristic plague.

The One Million suit has made several appearances in various media since, but hasn't really sparked as much interest as the others to have worn the cowl. Tellingly, he is also the only Batman to have made an appearance in mainstream DC continuity who hasn't revealed his true identity.
