What Happened To Everyone Who Became Horsemen Of Apocalypse?

7. Polaris

Polaris Horseman of Apocalypse
Marvel Comics

While Sunfire initially agreed to join Apocalypse in this particular incarnation of the Horsemen, Polaris was reluctant from the start. She had lost her powers during the events of M Day and Apocalypse decided to transform her into Pestilence - against her will.

The entire process is pretty grim, as we see Apocalypse forcefully imbue Lorna with diseases and viruses in order for her to fulfil her new role. He brainwashes her, and once the process is complete, Polaris unleashes her new powers on the X-Men.

Like the others, Lorna breaks free of Apocalypse's control but remains despondent, quitting the X-Men before embarking on a series of cosmic adventures for the next few years.

Now, however, Lorna appears to be back to normal. She resides on Krakoa alongside her father Magneto - her powers now seemingly intact.
