What Happened To Everyone Who Became Robin?

1. Damian Wayne

Jason Todd Robin Red Hood
DC Comics

Despite some readers struggling to take to Damian Wayne upon his debut, the character soon became a hugely enjoyable part of the Bat-family. And then he was killed off, of course - but let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

When Bruce Wayne was presented with a son in 2006, the landscape of DC Comics was rocked. Bruce Wayne, the ultimate bachelor, was now a father?! Not only that, but so much of this youngster’s instincts went against everything Batman stood for. With Talia al Ghul as his mother, Damian had been raised by Ra’s al Ghul and The League of Assassins. As such, he was a master martial artist who was more than happy to kill anybody who dared look at him the wrong way.

From there, Damian and Bruce slowly developed their father and son relationship up until Batman was killed in Final Crisis. After the death of his father, Damian became the Robin to Dick Grayson’s Batman.

Following the return of Bruce Wayne, it would then be the turn of Damian to be killed off in 2013. In a bizarre twist, an aged, adult Damian clone called Heretic murdered young Master Wayne. It was a moment that resonated across all of the Batman comic titles, and Damian really, really, really was dead.

Well, until he was resurrected with superpowers in 2014. Those Superman-esque powers may have worn off, but Damian is still alive and well as the current Robin of mainstream DC cannon.
