X-Men: 10 Times Rogue Stole Another Hero's Powers
1. Captain Marvel
The very first time Rogue appeared in Marvel Comics was all the way back in 1981 in Avengers Annual #10, which is filled to the brim with superheroes from the Avengers and X-Men roster.
Rogue made a heck of a debut into the comics world as she took out Carol Danvers. Known then as Ms. Marvel, Rogue absorbed her powers and personality which would define her for decades to come.
With the powers of Ms. Marvel, Rogue was able to take out Captain America, Spider-Woman, Vision, Wonder-Man, and even Thor in one fight by herself, which is insanely impressive for any single supervillain to do.
Ms. Marvel's powers are some of the most iconic that Rogue has used in her time as a member of the Brotherhood of Mutants and as part of the X-Men.
Danvers' personality has also been a major part of Rogue's life, often taking over her body when needed. But nonetheless, Captain Marvel and Rogue will always have an interesting connection. A connection that sparked a fan-favorite character, who has stood the test of time and become not only a hero, but a true Marvel icon as well.
