The casting department for Hunger Games prequel Sunrise on the Reaping has absolutely been cooking so far, and one of the best casting announcements? 

Bringing recent Oscar winner Kieran Culkin onboard to play a younger version of Caesar Flickerman - the commentator of the Hunger Games.

Caesar was unforgettably played with impeccable campiness by Stanley Tucci in the original franchise, and considering Culkin's own left-field flamboyance, he's a spot-on pick to play a younger, quirkier, and more rough-around-the-edges iteration of the character.

Plus, it goes without saying that it doesn't take much imagination at all to see Culkin ageing into Tucci now, does it?

While it remains to be seen if a Hunger Games prequel will hit with audiences - though general reception to the novel has been strong - in the very least we know that Culkin is going to have a ton of fun playing this role.
