10 Absurd Comic Book Characters Who Will Never Get A Film

4. Hindsight Lad

Dogwelder DC
Marvel Comics

Hindsight Lad is easily the most smug and patronizing of all superheroes, while simultaneously contributing nothing of value. A winning combination. Just look at his stupid self-satisfied face. But what's especially frustrating about him is that he doesn't even really have a superpower, he's just a regular guy who happens to be good at analyzing the different outcomes of decisions.

That is so boring it's shocking that he was ever allowed to be created. The whole point of superheroes is that they're supposed to be able to do cool stuff that the rest of us can't, not just have the learned skill set of your average researcher.

And like, cool, you can figure out where things went wrong and learn from them. That is an ability that literally all of us have. And it's useless in a life or death situation; you'll be killed before you have a chance to learn from your mistakes. To make matters even more dismal on the Marvel franchise front, Hindsight Lad was basically done already on South Park, but in a much more interesting way than the comics ever dreamed of. So like...forget this guy.
