10 Absurdly Contrived Bad Guy Schemes

6. Michael Myers (Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers)

Halloween-michael-myers-2622540-400-197 By the time Halloween 6 came out in 1995, our favorite boogeyman had turned from a simple Shape stalking babysitters on Halloween night to an unstoppable force with Dr. Loomis always in pursuit. The Curse of Michael Myers arrived on the scene with the promise that the secrets to Michael's legacy of evil would be revealed. As most diehard fans know, there are two versions of this movie: one is the theatrical cut and the other is known as the producer's cut. The producers cut took the secrets of Michael to its apex and I prefer this version over the abysmal theatrical version. Regardless, stay with me on this one if you can cause it gets hairy: Ancient druids worshipped Thorn, a symbol of evil that spread sickness, destroyed crops, etc. Each Celtic tribe took a child and cursed it with Thorn, in order to offer its next of kin as sacrifices on the night of Samhain a.k.a Halloween. Thorn was also a constellation of stars that form from time to time on Halloween night. In other words, every appearance of Michael, can be connected to Thorn appearing. Once Michael's last relative was killed off, then Michael's power would end, and the curse would be passed on to another. Certainly would have been interesting to see how they would have continued the series had they not went and did Halloween: H20.
