4. Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie has been at the forefront of blockbuster cinema for the last few decades, taking on huge movies like Mr & Mrs Smith, Salt and the Lara Croft franchise. Jolie is one of Hollywood's biggest names and one of the world's most notable actresses, however her fame is not immune to typecasting.

Jolie has been stuck as the sex appeal spy/assassin in many movies, a gun toting, acrobatic fighter who tends to wear something skimpy. This was true for Lara Croft, Salt, Unwanted, Mr & Mrs Smith and the list goes on. Her reputation as an attractive actress left her as the sex bomb badass in the '90s and 2000s and she has often struggled to shake that label.

The Exception - Gia

Hidden on her CV is Gia, one of Jolie's most underrated but best performances. Incredibly nuanced and displaying an vast array of emotions, Angelina portrayed the real-life Gia Marie Carangi. A tragic tale of drugs and emotion, Jolie proved her amazing range as an actress.

My parents were never murdered, I'm not avenging my dead wife. Just plain, old sat at a computer with a head full of knowledge I mostly don't use I was born and raised in the Black Country near Birmingham, England however am now living in Manchester, England after I moved here two years ago. I currently attend the University of Salford, studying Broadcast Journalism. That's it really. Told you there was nothing special. If you're really that desperate for something to do, follow me on socials. Yes, I do like that ego boost.
