10 Actors Who Could Play Indiana Jones In Reboot

7. James Caviezel

What better man is there than Jesus Christ himself to play Indiana Jones? After all, they did share the same cup for a drink. James Caviezel is currently enjoying a solid run on the hit show Person of Interest which has received rave reviews from critics and fans alike. Caviezel is also an actor that has featured in a lot more movies and shows than you may realize with small roles in movies like The Rock and GI Jane, along with hit movies like Passion of the Christ. Caviezel comes across as an actor who has a look comparable to Harrison Ford more than anything. Given the right script and supporting cast, Caviezel would be a different kind of Indiana Jones but has the right kind of acting abilities to pull off the professor Jones appeal along with the gruff dirty and disheveled look fans all know and love. Possible Storyline: Caviezel could slide in nicely playing the part of Doctor Jones during the hype of World War II when Hitler and the Nazis were obsessed with the occult and finding ancient artifacts, which is a standard reoccurring theme in the franchise. The occult is hinted at in previous Indiana Jones films and Hitler's obsession is mentioned first hand so it would be perfect to go even deeper into some of the other artifacts he was trying to find across the globe. It could come across as a bit generic but if you've ever had the opportunity to read about some of the things the Nazi's were looking for, there could be countless stories involving Indiana trying to thwart those plans.
