10 Actors Who Could Play Nathan Drake In The Uncharted Movie

3. Aidan Turner

Uncharted Bradley Cooper
New Line Cinema

Though Aidan Turner's feature-film experience is minimal, he leads his own immensely popular TV show, Poldark, and he's shown he can wear that Nathan Drake-style stubble like a pro - in pretty much everything he's in.

He was really fun to watch in The Hobbit trilogy too, despite being forced into a bafflingly misplaced love story with Evangeline Lilly's kick-ass elf, Tauriel. Throughout the course of all three movies, he hit those humorous moments with apparent ease, and carried a delightful allure that Nathan Drake would be proud of.

But he also knew when to dial down the laughs, playing all his action scenes (and his death) with a convincing combination of bravery, camaraderie and humanity. He's not the biggest of stars, likely being unknown to the majority of mainstream moviegoers, but he's shown that he has talent - and that's what counts here.

If Jake Gyllenhaal in Prince Of Persia proved anything, it's that you can't force a movie star into a role that they just don't fit. Turner would be a perfect candidate for the role of Drake; they share not only looks, but charisma, as well as the ability to carry themselves when things get violent.
