10 Actors Who Deeply Regret Starring In Comic Book Movies

3. Halle Berry

Catwoman is another movie to blame for the lack of female led superhero blockbusters in cinemas today, but one person who didn't hesitate to slam this critical and commercial flop was Halle Berry herself. After the Batman free spinoff predictably won pretty much every award on offer at the Razzies, the actress made a surprise appearance at the event, and her acceptance speech really summed up the whole thing perfectly. "I want to thank Warner Bros. for casting me in this piece-of-sh*t, god-awful movie," Berry said while picking up her award for Worst Actress."I€™d like to thank the rest of the cast," she added. "To give a really bad performance like mine, you need to have really bad actors." Ain't that the truth?! This abomination included cringe worthy turns from Sharon Stone and Benjamin Bratt too, so everyone involved really suffered. Berry hasn't said much else about the movie since then, and for the most part, it's been largely forgotten. While it clearly didn't put her off playing a superhero (she starred as Storm in X-Men: Days of Future Past as recently as 2014), it's not a stretch to look at the comments above and assume that the actress probably wishes she had never said yes to perhaps the biggest flop in her storied career in Hollywood.
