10 Actors Who Need Saving From Bad Movie Choices

6. Katherine Heigl

Katherine Heigl looked like a promising comic actress when she bust into the mainstream in 2007's Knocked Up, but she took the easy route after that, signing up for unchallenging roles in 27 Dresses, The Ugly Truth and Life as We Know It.

It was easy money for Heigl, but since the projects she selected had little substance to them, it was all downhill in Hollywood from there. From box office bombs like the ironically forgettable Unforgettable, to the Razzie-nominated Home Sweet Hell, the Grey's Anatomy star has been unable to catch a break on the big screen.

Even the financially successful Nut Job failed to impress critics. The animated movie's sequel, The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature, is the only movie Heigl actually has lined up.

One thing's for certain, the actress needs a hit wherever she can find one to rejuvenate her flagging career, so she might want to give careful consideration to her next project.
