10 Actors Who Need Saving From Bad Movie Choices
4. Bruce Willis
Bruce Willis is one of the action genre's best-loved veterans, but he's made some terrible career moves lately, and a glance at his IMDB profile suggests there's more to come.
Red 2 gave him a modest hit in 2013, but he's since sleepwalked his way through the likes of The Prince, Vice, Precious Cargo and Marauders, and heading up Eli Roth's Death Wish looks like another lapse of judgement, if the trailers are any indication.
Roth appears to have successfully reshaped Michael Winner's anti-vigilante classic into everything it's not, the early footage playing out more like an NRA propaganda video on steroids than the indictment of violence it should have been, so Willis will be adding another misfire to his resume come 2018.
His upcoming Unbreakable sequel Glass could be promising, given that the original is still one of the most unique contributions to the superhero genre, though you never know what you're going to get with M. Night Shyamalan, and that isn't just a reference to his trademark twists.
There's definitely a place in Hollywood for the hard-boiled action veteran, and its usually mentor-type roles and tales of recaptured former glory.
