6. Taylor Swift - Cats

It would be tempting to say that James Corden might be the biggest issue for Cats, because so many people seem to find him insufferable, but he's arguably quite perfectly cast as Bustopher Jones (even if original London cast member Brian Blessed would have been even better). He's also got a fair amount of acting experience, despite now being known as a talk show host.

More problematic is Taylor Swift's casting. Sure, she'll nail the musical requirements, but she's not an actor, which is not a statement based on professional history, but on ability. We've seen her in Valentine's Day, which was unwatchable trite nonsense, her voice role in The Lorax proved she wasn't a voice over artist and her cameo in The Giver was as bland as the movie. 

Nobody's saying she's a bad performer, but maybe sticking to singing might be better.
