10 Actors You Totally Forgot Starred In Horror Movies
3. Brad Pitt - Cutting Class
In 1989, Hollywood heartthrob, Brad Pitt, appeared in the whodunnit slasher, Cutting Class, which centres around a serial killer lurking around a high school (This wasn't the only horror property Pitt appeared in that year since he also showed up in the tv spin-off of A Nightmare on Elm Street, Freddy's Nightmares.)
Pitt had appeared in a few films prior but usually as an uncredited bystander. But the two-time Academy Award winner takes centre stage in Cutting Class for the first time as the basketball star player at his school, Dwight. Even though it can take a while for an actor to hone their craft, Pitt proves that he has always been effortlessly charming in front of the camera. His natural charisma allows him to stand out in every scene.
Of course, standing out isn't that hard since every other aspect of Cutting Class is unforgivably terrible. It's sloppily directed, the sound editing is appalling, and the acting is shoddy (even by B-movie horror standards.) It's worth watching for Pitt but you'll be impatiently waiting for him to appear every time he's not on screen.
