10 Awful Movies Breaking Bad Actors Want You To Forget

2. Why Him? (Bryan Cranston)

Why Him?
Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment

Bryan Cranston's portrayal of legendary onscreen meth kingpin Walter White was universally acclaimed and is still widely considered to be the best performance in television history. He has also proven to be quite a capable dramatic actor in the cinematic world, what with his well-received appearances in films like The Infiltrator, Argo and Drive. For his portrayal of Dalton Trumbo in 2015, Cranston was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor.

His foray into comedy films however, has not been so successful. While he has given great comedic performances in his early career with Seinfeld and Malcolm in the Middle, his comedy work following Breaking Bad has been less than stellar. His starring role in 2016's Why Him? was likely meant to establish him as a reliable comedic leading man. Instead, the movie turned out to be a tiresome retread of the father-vs-fiancé formula and failed to make any positive impression on audiences or critics.
