10 Awful Movies Stranger Things Actors Want Us To Forget

In Spree, Joe Keery plays a rideshare driver called Kurt Kunckle (awesome name) who's obsessed with social media. After a kid he used to babysit turns into an internet celebrity, Kurt becomes consumed with jealousy and does everything he can to go viral. There are many avenues to become internet famous but Kurt believes the most sensible way is to livestream him murdering passengers in his car. (Not sure why that was his first idea.)

Spree has an interesting (but bonkers) premise and Joe Keery proves once again to be a diverse performer. It's such a shame that everything else in the film is atrocious. It's so badly shot, you'd think you were watching a student film. Even though the murder scenes are meant to be scary, the dire special effects and pinkish blood makes you question whether or not you are watching a parody. Keery's performance is solid but it's impossible to sympathise with his character since he's literally killing people for Likes. It's a pity since Spree could've worked with a tighter script or with a better filmmaker.
