10 Bad Signs That Spell Doom For Paul Feig's Ghostbusters

4. They Couldn't Land Tina Fey

Tina Fey is another name who was at the top of the must-have list for the new Ghostbusters. She's one of the funniest comedians in Hollywood at the moment. If a new Ghostbusters had to happen without the original cast in a starring role, as with Emma Stone, Fey is the level of talent required to make it work.

Again, however, the producers couldn't land her. This despite her being on nearly every fans wishlist. Every dream cast article published about the film prior to filming commencing had Fey right at the top.

Interestingly enough, Fey is stepping into the Horror-Comedy genre, just not with Ghostbusters. Instead, she has an upcoming project that involves witch hunting of some sort. It doesn't have a title yet, but it seems she's not entirely against the concept anyway. So why couldn't producers land her for a project this high profile?

Good question, but if she simply didn't want to be associated with the film, who could blame her?
