10 Batman Stories That Should Be Adapted Into Animated Films

10. Batman & The Monster Men

Monstermen Batman and the Monster Men was a limited series written and drawn by Matt Wagner, that ran from November 2005-April 2006. The story took place between the events of Batman: Year One and Batman: The Man Who Laughs, and featured a young, optimistic Bruce Wayne and his first encounter with Hugo Strange. Strange is conducting experiments on patients at Arkham Asylum, turning them into violent giants, with funding from crime boss Sal Maroni. The story really pushes Batman to his limits, because up until this point in his career, he'd only faced off against thugs and mobsters, and had yet to encounter anything supernatural. Hugo Strange has always been a great villain, and would make for a perfect adversary in any film, animated or not.
