10 Behind The Scenes Reasons For Harry Potter Character Traits

4. Harry Wears Cardigans During Dumbledore's Army Meetings

In Order of the Phoenix, you might recall that Harry is often seen wearing cardigans during the meetings of Dumbledore's Army - a secret student organisation formed to stand up to Dolores Umbridge (Imelda Staunton) - throughout the film.

But this is more than a mere attempt to change-up Harry's threads by the costume department - it was reportedly at the behest of Daniel Radcliffe himself.

Radcliffe, who should know Harry better than most, felt that he would attempt to emulate the clothing style of his favourite Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Professor Lupin (David Thewlis).

Even the most casual Potter fan knows that Professor Lupin loves a good cardigan, and so Harry's unexpected wardrobe choice was ultimately a cute - if slight - tribute to his former teacher.
