Sometimes, school trips don't go as planned. Especially ones centred around safari parks. A child might get sick, or wander off, or attempt to climb into the lion cage to get a closer look at the lovely cats. Really, they're all average, accidental problems that are easy enough to deal with, bar anyone getting actually eaten by a lion. It's what you don't plan for that does you though, and safari parks being built next to military biological weapons testing facilities that kick out a potent strain of zombie disease is one of the more farfetched possibilities. But hey, at least Little Monsters will have you prepared.

Of course, this being a movie with mostly kids and all since they're on a school trip, they're inherently unkillable - with Little Monsters instead deciding to focus on comedy with its ridiculous leading trio rather than all out murderous gore (which it does really well). With charming central performances and another notch on the zombie subgenre belt, it's worth a watch for another banging Lupita Nyong'o performance alone, really.
