10 Best Superhero Movie Moments Of The Last Decade

A film we never thought we would see that is brilliantly realised from the word go. Fans had waited for more than a decade to finally see Ryan Reynolds redeem the character that was done a brutal disservice by his appearance in X-men Origins: Wolverine and no one was disappointed from start to finish.

It is fitting then that the start of Deadpool should be the movie moment to make this list. Absolutely everything you love about the character and wanted to see included in the film is there in the first five minutes. Ryan Reynolds breaking the fourth wall from the off and cheekily reminding the audience of the struggle it took to make it just exemplifies that even further.

Then there's the fantastic opening action sequence which is riddled with Deadpool's signature humour and quips either between or during the punches. The opening titles are geniously edited to once again hammer home the fact you're watching a Deadpool movie. Starring God's Perfect Idiot, A Hot Chick, British Villain, Produced By Ass-Hats, and Written By Heroes, are just a few of choice inclusions in the most side-splittingly hilarious title sequence of any superhero film ever.

It would have been impossible not to include Deadpool somewhere in our list and it feels fitting that the characters very first minutes of screen time should be what gets him on the list.
