10 Big Movie Franchises Chris Pratt Can Try Next

6. Universal's Monster Universe - Frankenstein

What about Chris Pratt as a man scientist? A chance for the actor to ham it up as a maniacal, self-obsessed professor who conjures up new life in the dark shadows of his lab, lightning raging in the night sky around him. A crazed smile, his eyes wide, a deranged laugh as he throws the levers back and awakens his creation; Chris Pratt as Doctor Victor von Frankenstein would be the perfect choice to send the monster movie franchise back to its Hammer Horror roots.

Universal are tapping into the latest 'shared movie universe' craze by going back to what made them so successful in 1931 through to 1948; a reimagining of the 'Universal Monsters Cinematic Universe'. The Mummy reboot is on its way in 2017, while The Wolf Man is likely to follow in 2018. It is only a matter of time before they tackle Frankenstein - and its infamous sequel Bride Of Frankenstein - and Chris Pratt as the title character would be a perfect way to make the reboot a success.

Heck, if Chris Pratt is such big news, why doesn't he play all the title villains. The reanimated Mummy of the Assyrian king Ashurbanipal. A tragic werewolf trying to hide his horrific identity from his friends and family. The most infamous vampire of all time, Dracula. Frankenstein and Frankenstein's monster - why not play both and make the film all about a twisted identity crisis? The possibilities are endless...
