10 Biggest Downgrades In MCU History
3. Thor
Often claiming to be the MCU's "Strongest Avenger", the one-time King of Asgard definitely holds a claim to the illustrious moniker based on the impressive achievements he's managed to pull off up to this point in his cinematic universe career.
Finally besting The Hulk upon truly accessing his God of Thunder potential in the fighting pit on Sakaar, fending off Hela using those very same newly realised abilities, resisting the power of a full-blown star during the creation of Stormbreaker, and even wielding both Mjolnir and the aforementioned new super-axe when taking down Thanos, Thor is a formidable adversary for just about anyone who steps onto the cinematic stage.
That being said, should his comic book counterpart ever somehow come face-to-face with this MCU god, Chris Hemsworth may be in for a long night.
Taking out Thanos single-handedly in the comics, the son of Odin has also been known to harness the previously mentioned Odin-Force - rebranded as Thor-Force when in his control. He also once lifted the Earth-sized Midgard Serpent, destroyed Surtur's solar-system-sized dimensional portal, survived energy blasts from Celestials, and battled the entire Frost Giant army for nine months straight without rest or food.
Simply put, MCU Thor is mighty. Comic book Thor is mightier.
