5. If Indy Is An Old Man, How Are The Nazis Involved? (Indiana Jones 5)

After being stuck in development hell for what feels like forever, Indiana Jones 5 is finally happening. Barring a zombie apocalypse or a sudden meteor strike, we're actually going to get this movie in 2022. Miracles do happen!

At this early stage in production, the film's story is of course being kept under wraps, but a few recent set photos have raised questions about the nature of the threat that Indy will be facing. These photos show vehicles that are emblazoned with Nazi imagery, but considering that the film will probably take place in the 1970s (based on Ford's age), how can the Nazis possibly be involved?

An outlandish theory is that a group of Nazis survived across the decades, and they end up crossing paths with old-man Indy - but that doesn't seem likely.

A safer bet is that the Nazis will feature in a flashback scene. Other set photos have shown Ford with motion-capture dots scattered across his face, hinting that de-aging tech will be applied for a portion of the film. This franchise is no stranger to flashbacks - The Last Crusade opened with a big one - and who doesn't want to see Ford's Indy punch some Nazis one last time?
