4. Carlito's Way: Rise To Power (2005)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UA-VKJ0FSl0 What better way to continue the story of Carlito's Way than to just not do that, instead opting to go back in time and document Carlito's accession into the world of big time crime using a cast of unknowns and a director who doesn't even have a clickable Wikipedia page? The movie, a prequel to De Palma's original, chronicles Carlito as a heroine dealer in 1960s Harlem, which is to say, handled by anybody else but the people who made this, could've been something neat. Instead, it's flat and uninteresting, comprised only of one bad scene linked to another. Who knew acting could be so... unacted?
