10 Clues For The Future Of The Marvel Cinematic Universe

4. Wakanda & Black Panther

Black Panther is now confirmed as coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Chadwick Boseman has been cast as the hero and will make his first appearance in Captain America: Civil War, before getting his own movie in 2018 and joining the Avengers for Infinity War. He has been hinted at for quite some time - as far back as 2010 - when Wakanda, the fictional country in which he resides and rules - was highlighted on a map in Iron Man 2. It could also be said that the very existence of vibranium - the material used to forge Captain America's indestructible shield - was hinting towards Black Panther, as his country is the only place in the comic book world that it can be found in its raw form. Black Panther's introduction will be most welcome, as leading black heroes are notably absent from the Marvel Cinematic Universe so far (and he is a key member of the Avengers in the comic books, of course).
