10 Comic Book Movie One Liners That Were Unintentionally Hilarious

6. "It's Fantastic..." - Fantastic Four

Josh Trank's Fantastic Four is one of the most infamous blockbuster misfires, superhero movie or not, of the last few years.

And though it's rife with unintentional comedy, nothing quite tops the outrageously bad final scene, in which Reed Richards (Miles Teller) finally comes up with the foursome's iconic team name.

In a scene that's suspiciously similar to the better-executed "Avengers A.." smash cut from Avengers: Age of Ultron a few months prior, Ben Grimm aka The Thing (Jamie Bell) notes that it's "fantastic" how far they've come. That naturally inspires Reed to come up with the name, and just as he's about to belt it out, we cut to the credits.

The dialogue, the shot selection and the performances all add up to a woefully forced and totally unearned fist-pumping sequel-baiting ending.

You were probably already crying with laughter long before this scene even happened, but this likely pushed you over the edge into sobbing hysterics.
