3. Mr. Freeze (Batman & Robin)

Although Arnold Schwarzenegger's portrayal of Mr. Freeze was so laughably wide of the mark that even the actor played it in a tongue in cheek manner, the fact is he actually looked pretty cool (intentional Freezenegger style lame temperature-based wordplay there). His armoured suit and ice blue make-up was pretty damn impressive - especially for 1997 - and, had the role been given to a more suitable actor who might have adapted him more faithfully to the comic book version, the character would have had everything and could have been remembered much more fondly than the way he is actually remembered today - which is as something of a joke.
