10 Comic Characters You Totally Forgot Are Already In The Marvel Cinematic Universe
8. Jocasta
Who? Originally created by Ultron to be his "wife" and modeled after Janet van Dyne, the android Jocasta has time and again proven to be anything but an ally to him, having frequently teamed up with groups like the Fantastic Four and, of course, the Avengers over the years to stop him and countless other villains. In the MCU: After J.A.R.V.I.S. was uploaded into the Vision in Age of Ultron, Tony Stark nearly chose Jocasta as his replacement, instead opting for F.R.I.D.A.Y., the user interface heard throughout the rest of the film. Why You Forgot: Unlike many of the Easter eggs throughout the MCU that only tease fans with characters who aren't confirmed to actually be around - like, for instance, Stilt-Man's legs hidden in Melvin Potter's workshop in Daredevil's first season not being comparable to if Wilbur Day himself was mentioned or seen - Jocasta at least does exists in some form, even if it's just on a UI card. It's pretty neat to think about her potentially showing up way down the line, but for now, the blink-and-miss-it nature of her little "cameo" means many didn't even notice.
