10 Completed Movies You Will Never See
2. 100 Years
Because it takes 100 years to make Louis XIII cognac, John Malkovich and Robert Rodriguez thought it would be interesting to develop a movie based on this concept. After Rodriguez agreed, Malkovich wrote a screenplay for 100 Years - a movie that would not be released for a century.
After Rodriguez shot the film in 2015, he had the reel locked in a bulletproof safe, with a time-sensitive lock that won't unlock until 18 November 2115. Now, because one in two million people live to 100, there's a 0.00005% you will get the chance to watch this little project... and that's if you were born today. As a result, 100 Years quickly became known as The Movie You Will Never See.
Okay, that's a fascinating idea. So, what's it about? The short answer is: we don't know. Although we are aware 100 Years is a sci-fi flick, any other details are scarce. Shuya Chang and Marko Zaror are playing key roles, but nothing else is known, not even their characters' names.
Unless scientists solve that whole ageing problem humanity has, you're never going to see 100 Years.
