10 DCEU Theories Better Than What's In The Movies

2. Doctor Poison Is The Creator Of Venom

With Wonder Woman 1984 taking place in, well, 1984, we sadly won't get to see more of the villainous Doctor Poison in the DC Extended Universe. Despite that, some fans remain convinced that her actions left a lasting impact on this shared world for decades to come.

It's said that the formula she gives to General Ludendorff to massively increase his strength is an early version of the "Venom" serum used by Bane to become an unstoppable monster. In fact, this theory went so far as to suggest that the doctor would have eventually found her way to Santa Prisca prison where her work ultimately fell into Bane's hands.

Honestly, this is an awesome theory, and one we would have loved to see become a reality. Had Ben Affleck's Batman battled Bane, then a throwaway comment from Alfred Pennyworth that a Doctor Poison created the formula which gives him his powers during World War I would be the kind of world-building we only really see from Marvel Studios.
