3. David Tennant
Recently voted the nations favourite Doctor, David Tennant hasn't been shy for work since handing over the keys to the TARDIS to Matt Smit in 2010. Tennant played the Time Lord from 2005 alongside Billie Piper, Freema Agyeman and Catherine Tate.
Tennant has starred in several TV and Films since 2010 including the ITV drama Broadchurch, written by current Doctor Who showrunner, Chris Chibnall and the 2017 movie You, Me and Him produced by Tennant's wife and former Doctor Who star, Georgia Tennant.
On the 3rd of August 2015, it was announced that David Tennant would be joining the cast of the Netflix/Marvel series Jessica Jones as the series main villain, Zebediah Killgrave AKA, The Purple Man. Tennant was a big hit with Marvel fans, most of which are likely to also be Whovians, and appeared in every season of the Netflix show until it was cancelled in 2019.
