10 Dream Directors Who Would Nail The Next Bond Film
4. Quentin Tarantino
This one is incredibly unlikely, given Tarantino's R rated filmography and work on current project Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, but it would be unquestionably awesome.
He has proven his gun fight prowess with films such as Django Unchained, and his close quarters combat directing with Kill Bill, and the rest of his films include some incredibly well acted moments of extreme violence. He always builds to these moments with a lot of tension and twisted character motivations, and the fallout from these explosive moments is always a delight to watch unfold.
With his penchant for writing poetic dialogue that reveals character with great finesse, Tarantino could add his own flair to 007's vocabulary.
With the producers handling Tarantino in the right way, they could allow for him to have freedom as an auteur, but still pull back on some of his tendency to have characters curse and the fountains of blood he is known for to find a healthy middle ground for the series.
Tarantino was interested in directing a Bond movie during the pre-production of Casino Royale, but it wasn't to be, much to the disappointment of film fans everywhere.
