10 Dumbest Character Resurrections In Star Wars History
5. Asajj Ventress

Switching over to the dark side of the dumbfounded resurrection storytelling, first up is Asajj Ventress.
Introduced as Dooku's Sith assassin sidekick during the 2003 Clone Wars series, Ventress was a formidable foe with a killer goth aesthetic. She wielded two curved blades which at the time was extremely rare to see someone rocking two lightsabers at once.
Killed off almost as soon as she arrived, Ventress died after a lengthy duel against Anakin Skywalker. This was a pivotal moment for Anakin as he resorted to giving in to rage in order to defeat her, even wielding one of her crimson sabers.
All of this was tossed out of the window, however, as Ventress became increasingly popular on the updated Clone Wars show in 2008.
It turns out Ventress started a relationship with the equally angsty Quinlan Vos. The two teamed up to go and attempt to assassinate her former master, Dooku, and learn the whereabouts of Darth Sidious. Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be.
During their battle with Dooku, Ventress sacrificed herself in order to save Vos. Looks like the Jedi aren't the only ones victim to being brought back only to be killed off into obscurity.
