10 Epic Movie Marathons To Pass The Time Right Now

6. The Wizarding World

Fantastic Beasts hasn't yet managed to attain anywhere near the level of critical and commercial success that was bestowed upon the Harry Potter series, but on the flip-side it both adds over four hours onto the Wizarding World's total running time, and their status as prequels allows you to get the two weakest installments out of the way first before you're welcomed back into the comforting embrace of Harry and the gang.

It's been nearly a decade since the main saga ended, and yet the popularity of Potter shows no signs of diminishing anytime soon. The movies didn't truly hit their stride until Alfonso Cuaron's Prisoner of Azkaban, but the third installment set the template for the rest of the franchise going forward as things became progressively darker and more mature.

Fans of a certain age will have grown up at the same rate as these characters, and re-immersing yourself back into the world of witchcraft and wizardry could provide a great deal of comfort and familiarity in these testing times, especially if you've never taken the plunge and devoured the entire Wizarding World back-to-back before.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
