After the monumental success of Puppet Master, Full Moon Pictures released Demonic Toys, a new franchise that focused on the tale of a demon looking to be reborn on Earth after 66 years of waiting for the perfect opportunity. Due to the fact that his powers were still weakened, he relied on the help of his minions... toys stored away in an old warehouse that he brought to life using what little powers he had left. These toys included the foul-mouthed Baby Oopsie Daisy, no doubt the brains of the bunch; the laser-firing robot Mr. Static; the fanged Grizzly Teddy who can grow to the size of a Wolf Man-esque creature; and the obnoxious and frightening Jack Attack, a merry time Jack-in-the-Box who uses his springy body like an appendage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wH6fokAYjMQ Why You Rooted For Them: Because every adult in this film, with the exception of the lead character of Judith Grey, was a complete imbecile. The warehouse proves to have the most incompetent security staff ever while the teenage female runaway who has been in the warehouse and studying the demonic toys allows herself to get killed despite having the most knowledge about what they are up against physically. Also, in the grand scheme of things, cheering for the bad guys just made more sense, especially after it was revealed that Judith's unborn "good son" was able to help out with his own set of magical abilities to thwart the demon trying to take control of his body... you know, the type of thing that would've been a tremendous help earlier in the film when innocent people were being murdered left and right. What a jerk.
