10 Films That Would Make Great TV Shows

3. Django Unchained

This television series would have a very simple premise - after Django rescued his wife, what sort of life did he live? Did he settle down with a farm and hope that racists wouldn't trouble him? Or did he continue to "shoot white folks for money"? We predict the latter considering there is very little available (paid) work for a black man in a United States before slavery was abolished.

The possibilities are endless for this dream series. Undoubtedly there would be many more criminals for Django to hunt down throughout an entire season while utilising the skills taught to him by Dr. King Schultz. Also, the lengthy duration of a series would offer more time to explore the prejudice that a black bounty hunter would have to face, especially now as he wouldn't be travelling with an old white German man. Or another potential narrative could tell the story of an aged, hardened Django with a lifetime of bounty hunting behind him, now training a young starter in the killing business.

The likelihood of Quentin Tarantino abandoning his beloved cinema for the world of TV might be unlikely, but could he at least still offer his welcome services by producing? It's believable that Jamie Foxx would become Django once again because he hasn't exactly had the best of careers since the 2012 masterpiece (yet you might disagree if you're a huge fan of The Amazing Spider-Man 2... No? No takers? Anyone?...)
