10 Game-Changing New Characters Coming To DCEU

As we mentioned, Black Adam is set to include the Justice Society of America. That superhero team features a number of big name characters (the original Green Lantern and Flash, for example), but one team member who has already been confirmed is Carter Hall, a.k.a. Hawkman.

In the comic books, the archaeologist is infused with an ancient metal which grants him incredible powers, but he later learns that he's lived and died through countless lives, and becomes Hawkman in each of them. He's joined by the woman he's destined to be with, Hawkgirl, and together, they're two of the most powerful heroes in the entire DC Universe.

Black Adam vs. Hawkman is a battle we're all eagerly anticipating watching on the silver screen, but this character's influence could stretch well beyond that Shazam! spinoff. In fact, he's the most likely member of the JSA to get his own film, and that gives Warner Bros. another huge DC Comics property to play with in the coming years as we follow Carter Hall through the DCEU's storied history.
