10 Great Comic Book Movie Performances You Might Have Missed

4. Liev Schreiber as Sabertooth, X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009)

This movie gets a LOT wrong. Adamantium bullets to wipe Logan's memory? Voluntarily submitting to having his memory wiped? WILL. I. AM. ??!!?!!? What it gets right are its two main villains: Danny Huston (damn, I wish I'd picked him...) as Stryker and Liev Schreiber as Sabretooth. A genuinely talented actor who brought multifaceted depth to the several different kinds of crazy and sadistic that Creed truly is, he holds his own against Jackman and is one of the few positive memories of a movie we wish we could erase with something less permanent than an adamantium bullet. While we're at it, can we do the same for "The Last Stand"?
