3. Brian Cox as William Stryker, X2 (2003)
X2 is very much Wolverine's movie. To a lesser extent, all of the first trilogy are. This movie is arguably best known for the one perfect scene involving Logan; the Mansion Assault in which his berserker rage is finally shown. Underpinning all of this, however, is a subtle, selfless turn as William Stryker from the man who first gave us Hannibal Lecter. Cox is a villain with a motive that exudes menace and was a match for an entire TEAM of X-Men. An underrated actor who is the real X-factor in the finest X-Men movie to date.
