10 Great Films Featuring Super Awkward Kissing Scenes

Wanted stars James McAvoy and Angelina Jolie as hyper-violent assassins working for the Fraternity, a murderous secret society. There is little room in this jam-packed thriller for romance, and, thankfully, the film does not try too hard to force an unwelcome relationship between its two protagonists.

However, Wesley (McAvoy) and Fox (Jolie) do enjoy one make-out sesh during the film. The pair visit Cathy (Kristen Hager), Wesley's cheating ex-girlfriend, at her apartment. To makes matter worse, Cathy now lives with her new boyfriend, Barry (Chris Pratt). Not only was Barry the man with whom Cathy cheated, but he was also Wesley's former best friend and colleague, as well as an all-round douchebag.

In an (ultimately successful) attempt to make Cathy jealous, Fox dramatically walks up to Wesley, grabs his face, and plants one on him.

While the scene does sizzle with chemistry, the over-dramatic slow-motion and bizarre camera angles makes this kissing scene more awkward than awesome.
