10 Great Movie Villains That Deserve Their Own Halloween Costumes

5. Princess Dragon Mom - Infra-Man (1975)

Screen Shot 2013 11 01 At 08 57 59 Fans of the Shaw Brothers' Infra-Man€”a chop-sockey superhero based off his Japanese equivalents Ultraman and Kamen Rider€”will be quick to point out that the actual name of the film's groovy villainess is Demon Princess Elzebub. If you really want to split hairs, her Chinese name is †河”主, and translates literally to "Glacial Demon Queen." None of that really matters to me, because as a tot I encountered this hot-to-trot, cone-bra wearing, horned gal in the English dubbed version, where it was assured I would never be able to forget the brilliantly deemed 'Princess Dragon Mom.' PDM is one happening chica, easily trumping the similar high camp of Eartha Kitt or Julie Newmar in their disco-villainy. She's got a cracking whip, can grow her head back repeatedly€”until it becomes outright annoying€”and she's employed an entire army of similarly extravagant monsters to serve her. Look at that fashion too; she's years before the shabby likes of Rita Repulsa in Power Rangers and far more easy on the eyes. This costume could easily become over or underwhelming, leaving people to think you're either a role-playing escort or some half-remembered Final Fantasy/Tekken character. The best approach maybe to view it as a group costume, with an Infra-Man and some of the monsters along for good measure. In fact, that sounds like a great family outing, with Princess Dragon Mom driving her mini-van full of Beetle and Octopus mutants around for candy.
