1. Poor Cho Chang
Our hero Harry’s first love interest may have gotten the short shrift in the original novel series, but poor Cho Chang was truly mistreated in the film adaptations.
After all whatever about the underrated Ravenclaw’s short-lived love affair with Harry being extinguished early in the books, at least Harry didn’t dump her for involuntarily giving up information whilst being tortured the way he does in the films.
A lot of minor characters were done dirty in the movies, but we expected better for the tentative first love of our ostensible hero than to get dumped for the crime of being a torture victim.
Come on, Potter.
