10 HATED Actors Everyone Was Wrong About

2. Shia LaBeouf

The second, and probably more noteworthy, Transformers alumni on this list, - Shia LaBeouf was an actor whose childhood went through the ringer in some of the worst ways. While he might still be known by most as the kid from Even Stevens, his roles in the Transformers films hammered a few nails in his coffin as it looked like LaBeouf was set to be an annoying goofball, in teenage goofball movies.

His personal problems didn't help either (bags on his head at premiers, his "Do It" viral video and that weird art exhibit he held), and it looked like at one point, LaBeouf was going to be another casualty to Hollywood's treatment of former child actors. Oh, how we are wrong now!

Fury, American Honey and Honey Boy showed LaBeouf's transition to adult acting brilliantly, and his role in The Peanut Butter Falcon is a wondrous and delightfully earnest performance that has to be seen to be believed.

While he may be tattooing his body for future movie roles, it has to be acknowledged that he seems aware of what direction his career was moving in the past, and is breaking through to a better side.

I overthink a lot of things. Will talk about pretty much anything for a great length of time. I'm obsessed with General Slocum from the 2002 Spider-Man film. I have questions that were never answered in that entire trilogy!
