10 Hated Movies (That Deserve A Second Chance)

5. Snow White And The Huntsman (2012)

Star Trek Nemesis
Universal Pictures

Snow White has to be one of the most famous fairytales in the world, the Disney version anyway.

The true version of Snow White actually came from the dark and twisted Brothers Grimm fairy tale of the same name. This story featured the same characters, the same storyline, and the same magic mirror. However, the story is far from singing birds and a handsome prince and much more flaming hot slippers and being forced to dance in them. Don't ask.

In 2012, it was announced that a Snow White movie was to be released, a movie that strayed away from the Disney classic and more into the realm of its original routes. The director? Ruper Sanders, a little known director at the time who had had previously worked in television advertising.

Before the release of the movie, Sanders was famously caught canoodling with his leading lady, Kirsten Stewart, who was then currently in a high profile relationship with ex Twilight star, Robert Pattinson. Sanders was also married.

As a result of the scandal, the movie was left in the shadows, with people more concerned with what the director and his leading lady were getting up to. Sadly, this had a huge effect on the film, which then became more of a supporting role to its scandalous stars.

Now, nobody will ever know what a great movie Snow White and the Huntsman actually is. Firstly, it offers audiences a darker version of what we are used to. It can be creepy, scary, and in some places a little gruesome, everything you would want from a violent Snow White movie. Secondly, it's got an amazing cast consisting of Stewart, Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, and even Bob Hoskins.

Everybody knows that a movie with Bob Hoskins is worth watching.
