Pulp Fiction has a very subtle closing credits gag that many probably wouldnt even notice unless they were paying ludicrous amounts of attention. As the supporting casts names are being listed, Robert Ruth is named as Coffee Shop rather than his actual character name. This isnt merely a nonsensically surreal joke, though; its actually a reference back to a moment from a movie. As Tim Roth puts a gun to his head in the famous robbery sequence, Ruth claims that Im not a hero, Im just a coffee shop before Roth cuts him off by telling him Get the f*ck down! The line that started with 'I'm just a coffee shop' went unfinished, then, allowing Quentin Tarantino to showcase his eye for detail by working it into the closing credits. It didn't take long for fans of the movie to pick up on this Easter Egg, and it's one that constantly gets mentioned in pub discussions around this topic. Its funny, simple and wonderfully irreverent. Nice one, QT.
