10 Hilarious Easter Eggs Hidden In Movie Credits

4. Multiple Firings - Monty Python And The Holy Grail

I'm breaking the ending-credits theme of this article a bit here, because Monty Python And The Holy Grail€™s opening sequence is very much deserving of a mention. It is, arguably, the pinnacle of movie credits ridiculousness. You can watch the whole thing here. First, Swedish subtitles appear alongside the English titles. To check if anyone€™s paying attention, they soon descend into an elongated story about a moose attacking the writer€™s sister. After a minute or so of silliness, a title appears telling us that €˜we apologise for the fault in the subtitles. Those responsible have been sacked.€™ It doesn€™t get much better from there, as about twenty job titles €“ all relating to a moose €“ slowly appear on the screen. Soon, the people hired to replace the original credits makers get sacked as well. Brightly coloured mayhem follows. Monty Python And The Holy Grail proves just how many laughs you can wrangle from a film before a single actor has even appeared. Brilliant stuff.
