10 Horror Movies That Would Have Made Better TV Shows

6. Cube

Cube Libre

In Vincenzo Natali's sci-fi thriller, Cube, six people wake up in a colossal labyrinth. This over-elaborate maze is composed of thousands of rooms, many of which are booby-trapped. Only one room leads to the exit.

Because the entire film takes place in the Cube, we don't learn much about how it was built or by whom. We never learn what happens to anyone who has escaped from it. (These questions are explored in the follow-ups, but they are beyond rubbish so let's forget they exist.)

If Cube was remade as a series, we could find out a lot more, not just about the Cube but the characters. Through flashbacks, we could learn what their life was like before entering the Cube, why they were chosen, how they were abducted, and what happens to the people who escape.

And do you who would be the best director for this project? The original director and writer, Vincenzo Natali. With his work on shows like American Gods, Westworld, The Strain, and Hannibal, it's clear Natali has gotten more versatile as a filmmaker over the years. Natali would be the perfect candidate to helm a Cube series and expand on the story he helped create.
